Text version
- Make backup copies of your forum files and database.
- Go to vBulletin Administrator Panel —> Products & Hooks —> Manage Products —> find the row with "Anti-spam by CleanTalk" and choose "Uninstall" in the pop-down menu.
- Confirm the deletion by pressing the button "Yes" on the next page.
- After successful deletion click the string [Add/Import Product].
- Download the product archive from CleanTalk (the link is at the beginning of this page or use the link given to you personally). - Go back to the Import Product page, choose the CleanTalk xml-file from the folder "/core/includes/xml" and press the button "Import".
- After importing go to Settings —> Human Verification Manager —> select CleanTalk —> Save.
- Go to Settings —> Options — find and select "Anti-spam by CleanTalk" in the list —> Edit Settings.
- Setup the Anti-Spam product, make sure that the access key matches the key from your CleanTalk Dashboard. Then press the button "Save".
- (Optional) Test the protection by making a registration using the blacklisted e-mail stop_email@example.com.
