Files Analysis Interface
After malware scanning, you can get the list of files in several categories (Unknown, Modified, Critical, Suspicious).
If you don’t know what to do with any of these files you can send them to us for analysis by clicking Send for Analysis button (keep in mind, that the category Critical does not have such button, meaning that there is no need for any analysis, the found files already identified as malicious):
If you want you can also enable the option "Automatically send suspicious files for Cloud analysis" in the Security plugin settings:
• WordPress Admin Page → Settings → Security by CleanTalk → General Settings → category "Malware Scanner" → enable the options "Heuristic analysis" and "Automatically send suspicious files for Cloud analysis" → Save Changes.
We will analyze these files and show you the results. You can see all sent files in your CleanTalk Security Dashboard. Go to Log menu and select Cloud Malware Scanner Logs:
Here you can see the status of your files:
• SAFE – file is safe, you can approve it.
• DANGEROUS – Infected file.
You can also wait for the analysis result in the scanner in the tab Analysis Log:
Use the menu Bulk actions to refresh the status of the sent files:
You can also use Delete from log button to delete the logs.
Once our Scanner has determined that this file is dangerous. Return to the tab where the file was sent from (Critical, Suspicious) and decide what to do with the file.
1. You can remove it from the system by clicking the Delete button.
2. If you think this is not a dangerous file, you can click the Approve button.
3. Send a file to Quarantine using the Quarantine it button.
You can find more information about quarantine here.
